Fall Fundraising Underway!

Our Fall Fundraising Effort is now underway. I want to take the time to thank everyone for taking the time to learn more about Volunteers 4 Good. Our name is our Mission! Everyday we strive to be Volunteers 4 Good. We continue to see and increase in requests for assistance. Our primary group that we try to provide assistance to is widows. We formed our organization to provide assistance in many different ways to widows who many times have too much pride to even ask for assistance. We hope you will make a generous donation during our Fall Fundraising Effort this year. Over the past few years, we have provided assistance to widows by tearing off and replacing a complete roof with all volunteer workers. Every year our volunteers cut grass, clean fence rows, rake leaves, change light bulbs etc. We enjoy providing assistance to widows in West Tennessee. When funds are available we try to provide assistance with utility bills and other expenses to help make ends meet. Your donation will help us continue our mission of being Volunteers 4 Good!

Hot Summer Of 2010

Boy, what a Hot Summer we are having here in Tennessee. This is one of the hottest summers I can remember and it seems to be much more difficult for me to deal with. I wonder of that comes from being a year older? Then I begin to think about all of the widows who are trying to stay cool or worry about paying the electric bill when it comes in. At Volunteers 4 Good we deal with many widows who live on a fixed income. The bills continue to go up and come in on a regular basis. We are trying to help as many of them as possible. We hope that you will take a moment and make a Tax Deductible donation to Volunteers 4 Good and in doing so help us help others. Volunteers 4 Good was founded in 2003 and we are Real People, providing Real Help. We cannot fulfill our Non-Profit Mission without the help of our friends. Your donation of $10.00, $25.00 or more will be used for our summer cooling program Utility Assistance Program for widows.
